Prime Suspect Confesses to Quadruple Murder in Karachi Family Tragedy

In a shocking case from Karachi, a man has confessed to the brutal murder of four female family members, including an underage niece. The prime suspect, Bilal, made his confession before a judicial magistrate, detailing how he was provoked by his friend, Shehzad, to commit the crime. Both suspects have been remanded in judicial custody.

Details of the Crime

During a court hearing, Bilal admitted to killing his mother, sister, sister-in-law, and niece. He claimed that Shehzad urged him to carry out the murders, promising him that it would help him marry Shehzad’s sister. Despite Bilal’s confession, Shehzad denied any involvement in the murders when questioned by police.

Sequence of Events

  • Initial Attack: Bilal first killed his niece when she brought him water.
  • Targeting Family: He then moved on to his sister, who was recording a TikTok video, followed by his mother, who was cleaning.
  • Final Struggle: The attack on his sister-in-law turned violent when she noticed his blood-stained clothes, leading to a scuffle that left Bilal injured.

After the murders, Bilal changed his clothes and disposed of the murder weapon at Native Jetty Bridge, which police later recovered for forensic analysis.

Investigative Findings

The investigating officer (IO) revealed that Bilal had been planning the murders for over two months. He reportedly watched the Indian TV show “Crime Patrol” for ideas on how to carry out his plan. Shehzad, arrested as an accomplice, is believed to have played a significant role in inciting Bilal.

A case has been registered against both suspects under sections 302 (murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Pakistani Penal Code.
